Day 1:Arrive in Downtown Tampa. See the history of Tampa. Begin your day dining and shopping in Old Hyde Park Village, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tampa and a designated national historic district. From there take the In Town Trolley into downtown and visit the Tampa Bay History Center. Jump onboard the TECO Line Streetcar System for a step into the past and ride into the future on a leisurely trek through the Channel District. Stay onboard for the trip into Ybor City, where you can visit the Ybor City State Museum. While in the neighborhood stroll along and visit the shops and restaurants from 19th Street and then on down Seventh Avenue. End your day by taking in a flick at the historic Tampa Theatre on Franklin Street.

Don't miss the new areas, Aquariumania! and the outdoor interactive play area Explore a Shore. Docked behind the Florida Aquarium is the S.S. American Victory ship, a historic merchant marine vessel used throughout the 20th century. Another option is to climb aboard an amphibious vehicle for a Duck Tour of Tampa Bay.
